Professionalism

According to dictionary.com, the definition of professionalism is "the standing, practice, or methods of a professional, as distinguished from an amateur." How exactly do you practice professionalism in a classroom? The best way to show professionalism is to be respectful and courteous of others in the classroom. Being punctual is another way to show professionalism, walking in late can cause a distraction, making it difficult for the teacher to continue with his or her lesson plan. Having professionalism in a classroom can create a better learning environment. If the students perform professionally it is likely they are paying attention and having an easier time learning.
If you show professionalism in the classroom setting, it is likely that you will continue to improve your professionalism as you work towards your career. Your future employer will be grateful that you have professionalism
